so what do you think happens to someone when they die.

i learned of the death of someone yesterday that was never a very good person.

i can't help but wonder where he is now... is he dead "aware of nothing" like the jws always said?

you no longer fit in with the jw's and aren't yet accepted by those outside either?.

terry, your list is exactly right. we have all been changed by our experience in a very unique way and it's hard to fit in and we don't want an anti kingdom hall. unusual people are sprinkled thru out history and have made their way forward and continued to learn. we just keep collecting the puzzle pieces and try putting them together trying to make sense of life. True searchers don't often have alot of friends

while reading an interlinear of the greek scriptures, i noticed where "spiritism" was put in place of "druggery", which is from the greek word, pharmakia.

now that is where we get pharmacy from.

is this not hypocritical though?

if a person writes articles in a magazine about whatever crazy health ideas they have and it's their personal opinions who cares. however if an organiztion claiming to represent the creator and his will starts touting crazy medical ideas and people believe it's info straight from the horse's mouth and people are at risk and maybe die. that's serious.

I suspect alot of fakes in the org because the consequences are huge for some and some people are better at it. I'm terrible at faking my husband says it's all over my face. we walked out the door because we couldn't bear it anymore and it's a relief to get away from the lies. the load of lies will begin to get very heavy for witnesses as time goes on and iI suspect that "the little one will become a thousand and the small one a mighty nation." and the watchtower will not be able to stop it no matter how big they make the prize or how ruthless the consequences.

Does the GB get a salary?

What is the Biblical Support for Observers at the Memorial ???

i have never gotten a good answer for this questions from any other jw's other than "everyone was of the annointed back in the first century" or "we are showing our respect for the arrangement" or some other nondescript comment.. even the notion that we "celebrate" the memorial is not accurate since the "celebration" part is limited to 8 or 9 thousand people and the 15 million or so that attend are merely observing or watching.. is there some other biblical support for people to observe the celebration ???

in all my life as a jw, i still don't quite understand the significance of it from a biblical persective.. rub a dub .
